Katy Scoggin is a documentary filmmaker. Flood, her feature directorial debut, won Best Kansas Feature at Tallgrass Film Festival, premiered at New Orleans Film Festival, and will premiere internationally at IDFA in 2025. Her previous credits include Co-Producer & Cinematographer on Laura Poitras's Oscar- winning CITIZENFOUR and on Cannes Director's Fortnight premiere Risk; Associate Producer on Emmy-nominated The Oath; and Producer on New York Times Op-Docs “The Program” and “Death of a Prisoner.” Katy worked as a cameraperson on in-progress feature docs Tree People (dir. Regina Sobel) and Adam's Apple (dir. Amy Jenkins). She lives in Chicago with her girlfriend.
