Filmmaker Bio

Katy Scoggin is a filmmaker with a background in fiction film and sculpture. Her feature doc credits include Co-Producer & Cinematographer on Laura Poitras's Oscar-winning CITIZENFOUR and Cannes Directors Fortnight-premiereing Risk; Associate Producer on Emmy-nominated The Oath; and Producer on NYT Op-Docs “The Program” and “Death of a Prisoner.” Katy is a cameraperson on works-in-progress Green Passage (dir. Regina Sobel), Adam's Apple (dir. Amy Jenkins), Following Harry (dir. Susanne Rostock), and Bootstraps (dir. Deia Schlosberg). Flood is Katy’s first feature doc. She lives with her partner, stepkiddo, and rescue rabbit in Brooklyn.
